Where do ideas come from?
Where do ideas come from?
You may have noticed us sharing more about the sources of inspiration behind our designs. We often talk about "concepts", the foundation from which a design grows, a source of ideas and inspiration to draw upon.
Sometimes a concept is specific: scientific nodes, eastern weaving techniques, a particular cultural reference. Other times it's broader: moodboards that capture a certain atmosphere or impression we want to evoke.

These concepts emerge through our foundational workshop, a rigorous, refined process we've honed over years of practice. We begin every project here, exploring everything from micro details, how a name should be written, the curve of a single letter, to expansive ideas like color palettes and visual language.
This exploration is intentional, even playful. It engages and aligns everyone involved. It helps us unearth meaningful ideas worth developing while avoiding directions that won't resonate (or worse, ring hollow). Most importantly, it leads to designs rooted in authenticity, because the final work connects directly to the ideas discovered together in those early sessions, the foundation upon which everything else is built.
